Ithas been revealed that League One side Bolton Wanderers are one of the clubs keen to sign Dean Campbell from Scottish Premiership giants Aberdeen. The Bolton Wanderers interest was revealed by Football Insider. Apart from Bolton Wanderers, Forest Green Rovers and Port Vale are the other two English teams keen to sign the midfielder.

20-year-old Campbell has been in and around the Aberdeen first team this season. The Scottish club won't mind a loan deal for him during this January transfer window.

The three aforementioned clubs have all asked about signing the young midfielder this month and it would be interesting to see how the situation will turn out over the course of this winter transfer window.

Campbell has made 12 appearances for Aberdeen this season in all competitions and seven of those appearances have been as a substitute. His last appearance for the Scottish Premiership club came during the 2-1 win over Dundee on Boxing Day.

Campbell has spent his whole career in Scotland and moving to one of Bolton Wanderers, Port Vale or Forest Green Rovers would be testing a new environment for him since he has never tasted English football since the start of his career.
