BOLTON WANT BECKFORD

Bolton Wanderers have shown a lot of interest in signing Leicester City striker Jermaine Beckford, but the deal is far from being completed due to several issues.

Bolton are yet to agree a deal with Leicester, while they are also believed to be miles apart when it comes to agreeing personal terms with the striker. Former Everton striker Beckford is one of the best strikers in the Championship, but it seems that his astronomical wage demands may put off the deal.

CHARACTER AND QUALITY

The Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has said that he is extremely delighted with the character and quality shown by the players in the recent match against Birmingham city.

Bolton Wanderers looked like suffering yet another defeat in a match after Birmingham have taken the lead through a goal from Zigic after just 11 min on the clock. Due to the fact that both are coming into the encounter on the back of two consecutive defeats, things appeared to go from bad to worse for Freedman and his team in the initial stages of the match.

ROTATION CONTINUES

The Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has said that he will continue with his policy to rotate the squad after managing to impress sufficiently since taking over from Owen Coyle on a permanent basis. Since the sacking of Owen Coyle, Bolton Wanderers have been able to make their way up the table.

They are also undefeated in the last six matches, while they recently managed a spectacular 2-1 win over Blackburn in the Lancashire derby. This away victory against the former Premier league club has been met with a lot of confidence at the Reebok stadium.

COYLE SLAMS REFS

The Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that a number of refereeing decisions have cost the club dearly in the new Championship season. POSITIVE RESPONSE NEEDED

Bolton Wanderers were relegated from the Premier league after more than a decade of top flight football. However, they have decided to retain their manager Owen Coyle with a view of returning to the Premier league in the first instance. POOR PERFORMANCE

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has publicly criticised his players after the 3-0 defeat at the hands of struggling Portsmouth, who aren't exactly a team full of Lionel Messis!.

COYLE WANTS MORE OF THE SAME

Following the hard-fought 2-1 win over Aston Villa during the week, Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that he is looking forward to getting the same out of his players when they take on Sunderland during this weekend.

Even though Bolton were in the relegation zone, they were having two games in hand. Of course, the problem with having two games in hand is a fact that one should be able to make use of it and win the matches.

It is exactly what Bolton did during the week against Aston Villa when they came back from being 1-0 down in the match to win the match 2-1.
