After severe rain forced a temporary suspension in Donetsk, French quality eventually shone through in a comfortable 2-0 win

The game began in extraordinary circumstances with torrential rain that was soon accompanied by thunder and lightning to such an extent that Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers had no choice but to take the teams off the field. Play was suspended for nearly an hour but when the players returned, the pitch was in remarkably good condition.

JAY JAY SLAMS OWNERS

Former Bolton Wanderers star Jay-Jay Okocha has said that the owners of the club are to blame for the club's relegation from the Premier league this season.

COYLE WANTS MORE OF THE SAME

Following the hard-fought 2-1 win over Aston Villa during the week, Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that he is looking forward to getting the same out of his players when they take on Sunderland during this weekend.

Even though Bolton were in the relegation zone, they were having two games in hand. Of course, the problem with having two games in hand is a fact that one should be able to make use of it and win the matches.

It is exactly what Bolton did during the week against Aston Villa when they came back from being 1-0 down in the match to win the match 2-1.

COYLE BACKS MUAMBA RETURN

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that there is every chance that midfielder Fabrice Muamba could play again for the club.

He collapsed on the pitch in the match against Tottenham a few weeks ago. Doctors said that Muamba was almost dead for up to an hour until he was brought back to life. He was recently discharged from the hospital and is now continuing his recovery from the condition that almost took his life.

BOLTON SUFFER AT NEWCASTLE

COYLE PLEASED THE FANS ARE BACKING HIM

Bolton Wanderers manager Owen Coyle has said that he is very much pleased to see the fans still backing him to get the results. Bolton Wanderers have been truly appalling this season, despite performing well last season.
